Facility Rentals

• Booking guidelines

  • Full payment is due when you book, unless other arrangements have been approved
  • We accept cash, cheque, debit, Visa, and Mastercard
  • To confirm your booking, you must sign the applicable Licence of Use agreement, appendix and rental contract. See the rental forms below
  • You must be at least 19 years old to book a facility
  • For Sports Centre and Aquatic Centre bookings, cancellations require at least 14 days’ notice. Different cancellation terms may apply to major events
  • For Exhibition Grounds bookings, cancellations require at least seven days’ notice
  • Most rentals require $2 million in liability insurance. The insurance certificate must name the Comox Valley Regional District as an additional insured. Exceptions may apply to meeting room and pool bookings where the renter is not providing instruction

Artificial turf field rentals

• Field availability

  During the school year, Comox Valley Schools uses the fields on most weekdays during school hours.

  Community bookings are generally available:

  • Weekdays after 5 pm
  • Weekends
• Facility features

  The new approximately 8,790-square-metre multi-sport field supports:

  • Baseball
  • Soccer
  • Field lacrosse
  • Field hockey
  • Rugby and football practice

  Opening update

  The field will open for scheduled school and community use on September 8, 2026. Some site amenities will remain under construction after the field opens, including landscaping, washrooms, player benches and shelters, and spectator bleachers.

  For public and contractor safety, construction areas will be fenced and must not be entered.

  Spectators are not permitted at the field until further notice. The CVRD appreciates users’ patience while final site improvements are completed.

  Field amenities include:

  • Lighting and fencing
  • Two washrooms*
  • Two player shelters*
  • Two dugouts*
  • Two regulation soccer goals
  • Spectator seating*
  • Operations storage
  • Boot brush stations

  *Not available when the field opens on September 8, 2026.
